एसईसीएल के निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) श्री बिरंची दास को एमसीएल के निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) का अतिरिक्त प्रभार
भारत सरकार के कोयला मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी आदेश के अनुसार, माननीय केंद्रीय कोयला मंत्री की स्वीकृति से साउथ ईस्टर्न कोलफील्ड्स लिमिटेड (एसईसीएल) के निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) श्री बिरंची दास को महानदी कोलफील्ड्स लिमिटेड (एमसीएल) के निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) का अतिरिक्त प्रभार सौंपा गया है।
यह प्रभार 1 जुलाई 2026 से प्रारंभ होकर छह माह अथवा नियमित निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) की नियुक्ति अथवा अगले आदेश तक, जो भी पहले हो, प्रभावी रहेगा।
श्री बिरंची दास ने 20 मार्च 2024 को एसईसीएल के निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) का कार्यभार ग्रहण किया था। लगभग तीन दशक के समृद्ध अनुभव वाले श्री दास ने अपने कार्यकाल में मानव संसाधन प्रबंधन, औद्योगिक संबंधों, कर्मचारी कल्याण तथा सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व के क्षेत्र में अनेक उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धियाँ अर्जित की हैं।
उनके नेतृत्व में एसईसीएल की प्रमुख सीएसआर पहल “एसईसीएल की धड़कन” के अंतर्गत जन्मजात हृदय रोग से पीड़ित 300 बच्चों की सफल हृदय शल्य चिकित्सा पूर्ण की जा चुकी है। वहीं “एसईसीएल के सुश्रुत” योजना के दो बैच सफलतापूर्वक पूर्ण हुए हैं। यह देश के किसी भी कोयला सार्वजनिक उपक्रम की पहली योजना बनी जिसे भारत सरकार के डीबीटी पोर्टल पर सूचीबद्ध किया गया।
मानव संसाधन प्रबंधन के क्षेत्र में उनके कार्यकाल के दौरान वित्तीय वर्ष 2024-25 से अब तक 1,623 से अधिक भू-स्वामियों तथा 946 आश्रितों को रोजगार उपलब्ध कराया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त कर्मचारी कल्याण, औद्योगिक संबंधों एवं संगठनात्मक विकास की दिशा में अनेक नवाचार एवं कर्मचारी हितैषी पहलें सफलतापूर्वक लागू की गई हैं।
श्री बिरंची दास ने अपने व्यावसायिक जीवन की शुरुआत वर्ष 1994 में महानदी कोलफील्ड्स लिमिटेड के तालचेर क्षेत्र स्थित देउलबेरा कोलियरी में वेलफेयर ऑफिसर (प्रशिक्षु) के रूप में की थी। उन्होंने उत्कल विश्वविद्यालय, ओडिशा से पर्सोनल मैनेजमेंट एवं इंडस्ट्रियल रिलेशंस विषय में स्नातकोत्तर उपाधि प्राप्त की है।
एमसीएल में अपने पूर्व कार्यकाल के दौरान उन्होंने औद्योगिक संबंधों को सुदृढ़ बनाने, गैर-कार्यपालक कर्मचारियों के आवास आवंटन नियमों तथा विभिन्न मानव संसाधन नीतियों के निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया।
वर्तमान में श्री बिरंची दास छत्तीसगढ़ ईस्ट रेलवे लिमिटेड (CERL) एवं छत्तीसगढ़ ईस्ट-वेस्ट रेलवे लिमिटेड (CEWRL) के निदेशक मंडल के सदस्य भी हैं।
