वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के निर्देशन में थाना कोटा पुलिस द्वारा क्षेत्र में अवैध जुआ-सट्टा गतिविधियों पर अंकुश लगाने हेतु विशेष अभियान चलाया जा रहा है।
इसी क्रम में दिनांक 21.10.2025 को थाना प्रभारी श्री तोप सिंह नवरंग को मुखबिर से प्राप्त सूचना पर पुलिस टीम द्वारा संतोष कश्यप के फार्म हाउस, ग्राम लमेर, थाना कोटा, जिला बिलासपुर में दबिश दी गई।
मौके पर कुछ व्यक्ति रुपये पैसों का दांव लगाकर जुआ खेलते पाए गए। पुलिस द्वारा तत्काल कार्यवाही करते हुए निम्नलिखित व्यक्तियों को पकड़ा गया –
1. गिरीश कश्यप पिता ध्रुव कश्यप, उम्र 50 वर्ष, साकिन इमलीपारा बिलासपुर
2. उधो कश्यप पिता जगन्नाथ कश्यप, उम्र 57 वर्ष, साकिन तेलीपारा बिलासपुर
3. मनोज कश्यप पिता रामशंकर, उम्र 36 वर्ष, साकिन कुदूदण्ड बिलासपुर
4. मिश्रीलाल कश्यप पिता महादेव प्रसाद, उम्र 70 वर्ष, साकिन तेलीपारा बिलासपुर
5. कमलेश कश्यप पिता जीयालाल, उम्र 49 वर्ष, साकिन मंगला बिलासपुर
6. चन्द्रकांत शर्मा पिता बद्रीप्रसाद शर्मा, उम्र 56 वर्ष, साकिन कश्यप कॉलोनी बिलासपुर
7. संतोष कश्यप पिता विषभर कश्यप, उम्र 47 वर्ष, साकिन तेलीपारा बिलासपुर
8. राम पटेल पिता पिताम्बर पटेल, उम्र 43 वर्ष, साकिन मौहारखार (निरतु), थाना कोनी
9. विजय सिंह ठाकुर पिता जीवन सिंह ठाकुर, उम्र 43 वर्ष, साकिन रपटा चौक, चांटीडीह बिलासपुर
मौके से ₹69,300 नगद, 03 कार एवं 10 मोबाइल फोन जप्त किए गए।
सभी आरोपियों का कृत्य धारा 3(2) जुआ (प्रतिषेध) अधिनियम, 2022 के तहत दंडनीय पाए जाने पर आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर विधिवत कार्यवाही की गई है।
इस कार्यवाही में थाना प्रभारी कोटा श्री तोप सिंह नवरंग के नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीम की सक्रिय भूमिका रही।
