बिलासपुर /प्रार्थी कमलेश साहू पिता अशोक साहू, उम्र 22 वर्ष, निवासी दैहान गिट्टी, थाना सिरगिट्टी ने रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई कि वह दिनांक 12 जुलाई को अपने घर में ताला लगाकर सरकंडा गया था। दिनांक 13 जुलाई को रात्रि में घर लौटने पर उसने पाया कि घर का मुख्य द्वार टूटा हुआ है और भीतर से लाल पेटी में रखे सोने, चांदी एवं नगद रकम को अज्ञात व्यक्ति द्वारा चोरी कर लिया गया है।
जांच के दौरान एक विधि से संघर्षरत बालक को चिन्हित कर पूछताछ की गई। पूछताछ में उसने उक्त चोरी की घटना में संलिप्तता स्वीकार करते हुए बताया कि चोरी किए गए सोना-चांदी को कीर्ति नगर निवासी अभिषेक सोनी नामक व्यवसायी को बेचा गया था। आरोपी बालक के कब्जे से चांदी के बिछिया (02 नग), नगद ₹25,000 तथा चोरी की राशि से खरीदा गया मोबाइल फोन जब्त किया गया।
व्यवसायी अभिषेक सोनी से पूछताछ पर उसने चोरी का सोना खरीदकर उसे पिघलाकर एक टुकड़े के रूप में परिवर्तित करना स्वीकार किया। संबंधित सोने जिसका वजन करीब 21 ग्राम था को भी विधिवत रूप से जब्त किया गया।
विधि से संघर्षरत बालक के परिजनों को सूचित करते हुए उसे माननीय बाल न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत किया गया तथा अभिषेक सोनी को माननीय न्यायालय के समक्ष प्रस्तुत कर न्यायिक अभिरक्षा में भेजा गया।
