पुलिस की बड़ी कार्रवाई: आम रोड पर चाकू लहराकर दहशत फैलाने वाला बदमाश लक्की यादव गिरफ्तार
बिलासपुर। शहर में शांति व्यवस्था को भंग करने वाले और सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर हथियार लहराकर जनता को डराने वाले असामाजिक तत्वों के खिलाफ बिलासपुर पुलिस ने अभियान तेज कर दिया है। इसी कड़ी में सिटी कोतवाली पुलिस ने करबला क्षेत्र में आतंक मचा रहे एक बदमाश को रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया है।
सिटी कोतवाली पुलिस को मुखबिर से सूचना प्राप्त हुई कि करबला कोदू चौक के पास मुख्य मार्ग पर एक युवक हाथ में धारदार चाकू लिए आने-जाने वाले राहगीरों को डरा-धमका रहा है। आरोपी के इस कृत्य से इलाके में काफी दहशत व्याप्त थी। सूचना मिलते ही वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री रजनेश सिंह (भा.पु.से.), अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री अनुज कुमार और नगर पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री गगन कुमार (भा.पु.से.) को अवगत कराया गया।
उच्च अधिकारियों के निर्देशानुसार, सिटी कोतवाली पुलिस की टीम ने तत्काल मौके पर दबिश दी। पुलिस को देखकर आरोपी ने भागने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन घेराबंदी कर उसे पकड़ लिया गया। तलाशी के दौरान आरोपी के कब्जे से 01 नग अवैध धारदार चाकू जप्त किया गया।
पकड़े गए आरोपी का नाम लक्की उर्फ लक्कू यादव, पिता रामायण यादव, उम्र 22 वर्ष है, जो करबला कुम्हारपारा (थाना सिटी कोतवाली) का निवासी है। आरोपी का कृत्य आर्म्स एक्ट की धारा 25, 27 के तहत दंडनीय पाए जाने पर उसे गिरफ्तार किया गया और न्यायिक रिमांड पर जेल भेज दिया गया है।
