बिलासपुर रेल मंडल में ‘गमछा गैंग’ पर शिकंजा: जीआरपी और आरपीएफ की संयुक्त कार्रवाई में 6 शातिर चोर गिरफ्तार
₹2.74 लाख की जेवर चोरी का 12 दिनों के भीतर खुलासा, गैंग के सरगना सहित 2 आरोपी फरार
बिलासपुर रेल मंडल में ट्रेनों के भीतर यात्रियों का सामान पार करने वाले कुख्यात ‘गमछा गैंग’ के खिलाफ जीआरपी (GRP) और आरपीएफ (RPF) की संयुक्त टीम ने एक बड़ी और सफल कार्रवाई की है। पुलिस ने चोरी की एक बड़ी वारदात को मात्र 12 दिनों के भीतर सुलझाते हुए अंतरराज्यीय गिरोह के 6 सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।
यह गिरोह ट्रेनों में चोरी करने के अपने पारंपरिक तरीकों को बदलकर नए पैटर्न का इस्तेमाल कर रहा था। आरोपी ट्रेनों में गमछा या टॉवेल कंधे पर रखकर या फैलाकर यात्रियों के पास बैठते थे। इसी गमछे और टॉवेल की आड़ लेकर ये बेहद शातिर तरीके से यात्रियों के कीमती सामान और जेवरातों पर हाथ साफ कर देते थे।
12 जुलाई की चोरी की गुत्थी सुलझी
गत 12 जुलाई को ट्रेन में यात्रा के दौरान एक यात्री के ₹2.74 लाख मूल्य के सोने-चांदी के जेवर चोरी हो गए थे। मामले की संवेदनशीलता को देखते हुए जीआरपी और आरपीएफ की संयुक्त टीम गठित की गई। टीम ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए तकनीकी सर्विलांस और मुखबिर की सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई की और 12 दिनों के भीतर मामले का पर्दाफाश कर दिया।
गिरफ्तार आरोपियों का विवरण
गिरफ्तार किए गए सभी 6 आरोपी बिहार के मुंगेर जिले के निवासी हैं। आरोपियों के नाम व विवरण इस प्रकार हैं:
- आरोपी 1 (नाम/पिता का नाम – मुंगेर, बिहार)
- आरोपी 2 (नाम/पिता का नाम – मुंगेर, बिहार)
- आरोपी 3 (नाम/पिता का नाम – मुंगेर, बिहार)
- आरोपी 4 (नाम/पिता का नाम – मुंगेर, बिहार)
- आरोपी 5 (नाम/पिता का नाम – मुंगेर, बिहार)
- आरोपी 6 (नाम/पिता का नाम – मुंगेर, बिहार)
सरगना सहित दो आरोपी फरार
इस गिरोह का मुख्य सरगना जीत मंडल और उसका साथी दीपक कुमार फिलहाल पुलिस की गिरफ्त से बाहर हैं। दोनों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए संभावित ठिकानों पर लगातार दबिश दी जा रही है। पुलिस का दावा है कि जल्द ही दोनों को भी गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा।
आगे की कार्रवाई और खुलासे की संभावना
गिरफ्तार आरोपियों को हिरासत में लेकर गहन पूछताछ की जा रही है। जीआरपी और आरपीएफ अधिकारियों का मानना है कि इस गैंग की गिरफ्तारी से बिलासपुर रेल मंडल व आसपास के क्षेत्रों में ट्रेनों में हुई अन्य चोरी की वारदातों के भी बड़े खुलासे होने की संभावना है।
यात्रियों से अपील:
जीआरपी एवं आरपीएफ प्रशासन रेल यात्रियों से अपील करता है कि यात्रा के दौरान अनजान व्यक्तियों से सतर्क रहें और अपने सामान की सुरक्षा के प्रति सजग रहें। किसी भी संदिग्ध व्यक्ति या गतिविधि की सूचना तुरंत टॉल-फ्री नंबर 139 या नजदीकी सुरक्षाकर्मी को दें।
