Action for banishment from the district by the District Magistrate
Ambikapur, February 6, 2025/ A report has been filed by the Superintendent of Police, Surguja, for taking action for banishment from the district under the provisions of Section 5 (a) (b) of the State Security Act, 1990 against the non-applicant Jai Aditya Tiwari alias Ansh Pandit, son of Ashok Tiwari alias Baba Pandit, resident of Jarhagarh, Kotwali Police Station, Ambikapur. On the basis of the report of the Superintendent of Police, Surguja, a show cause notice was issued to the non-applicant Jai Aditya Tiwari alias Ansh Pandit regarding the action of banishment from the district under section 5 (a) (b) of the said Act, and after receiving the reply from him and giving him an opportunity of due hearing, the charge levelled against the non-applicant Jai Aditya Tiwari alias Ansh Pandit was confirmed on the basis of prosecution evidence and the documents presented, hence, action was taken to expel (banish) the non-applicant Jai Aditya Tiwari alias Ansh Pandit, son of Ashok Tiwari alias Baba Pandit, resident of Jarhagarh, Police Station Kotwali Ambikapur, District Surguja (CG) under Section 5 of the State Security Act, 1990 from the boundaries of District Surguja, Jashpur, Raigarh, Korba, Balrampur and Surajpur for a period of one year from 06 February 2025.
