Chhattisgarh news में पत्रकार पर हमला नहीं, लोकतंत्र पर हमला हुआ है! बिलासपुर में फोटोजर्नलिस्ट और पिता को गुंडों ने पीटा, अब क्या कलम पकड़ने से पहले ‘हथियार’ भी उठाना पड़ेगा?…
बिलासपुर। छत्तीसगढ़ की धरती पर सच लिखना अब सबसे बड़ा गुनाह बन गया है। बीती रात बिलासपुर में एक फोटोजर्नलिस्ट और उसके पिता को नशे में धुत गुंडों ने बेरहमी से पीटा। हमला इतना भयावह था कि उसे ‘हादसा’ कहना भी लोकतंत्र के साथ मज़ाक होगा।
फोटोजर्नलिस्ट शेखर गुप्ता और उनके पिता पर 23-24 मई की दरमियानी रात कुछ लोगों ने लोहे की रॉड और डंडों से जानलेवा हमला किया। मकसद था डर पैदा करना। संदेश था चुप रहो वरना अगला नंबर तुम्हारा है।
अब सवाल नहीं, आग उगलने का वक्त है : बिलासपुर प्रेस क्लब ने इस बर्बर हमले को लेकर वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक रजनेश सिंह से मुलाकात कर दो टूक शब्दों में चेताया – “अगर कार्रवाई नहीं हुई, तो हम चुप नहीं बैठेंगे।”
प्रेस क्लब की मांग है कि हमलावरों पर सिर्फ FIR नहीं, बल्कि गुंडा एक्ट, साजिश और हत्या के प्रयास जैसी गंभीर धाराएं लगाई जाएं।
पत्रकारों की सुरक्षा – अब ‘डिमांड’ नहीं, ‘डिक्लेरेशन’ है!
प्रेस क्लब ने जिला पुलिस को सीधा प्रस्ताव सौंपा है :
- हर थाना क्षेत्र में पत्रकारों की पूरी सूची जमा कराई जाए।
- आपात स्थिति में तत्काल मदद के लिए पत्रकार-पुलिस का संयुक्त व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप बनाया जाए।
- गुंडों पर सख्त से सख्त कार्रवाई हो, वरना सड़कों पर आंदोलन तय है।
पुलिस प्रशासन ने भी माना है कि अब वक़्त ‘रूटीन प्रक्रिया’ का नहीं, सख्त और ठोस कार्रवाई का है।
इस हमले के बहाने असली चेहरा उजागर हुआ है :
- क्या पत्रकारों को अब अपनी पहचान छुपाकर काम करना पड़ेगा?
- क्या छत्तीसगढ़ में ‘सच’ बोलने वालों की ज़ुबान काटने की खुली छूट है?
- क्या अपराधी गिरोहों को नेताओं और अधिकारियों का संरक्षण हासिल है?
अब चुप रहना गुनाह है – मीडिया एकजुट हो या अगला नंबर तुम्हारा हो सकता है ! यह हमला सिर्फ एक पत्रकार पर नहीं हुआ,यह कलम, कैमरे और संविधान – तीनों पर हमला है।अगर हम आज नहीं लड़े, तो कल अखबार की जगह श्मशान में शांति पाठ छपेगा।
