बिलासपुर: 20 लाख की लागत से बना ‘अटल चौक’ एक साल में ही बदहाल, निर्माण कार्य में भ्रष्टाचार को लेकर जनता में भारी आक्रोश
छत्तीसगढ़ के बिलासपुर जिले के बोदरी से एक बड़ी खबर सामने आ रही है, जहाँ देश के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री भारत रत्न स्वर्गीय अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी जी के नाम पर बने नवनिर्मित चौक और प्रतिमा स्थापना में भारी भ्रष्टाचार का मामला गरमा गया है।
महज एक साल पहले लगभग 20 लाख रुपये (19.95 लाख) की लागत से बनकर तैयार हुए इस चौक का लोकार्पण 10 जनवरी 2025 को किया गया था। लेकिन लोकार्पण के एक साल के भीतर ही यह नवनिर्मित चौक भ्रष्टाचार की भेंट चढ़ चुका है। घटिया निर्माण कार्य को लेकर आज बोदरी नगरपालिका के अध्यक्ष, पार्षदों और स्थानीय नागरिकों में भारी आक्रोश देखा गया।
विकास के बड़े-बड़े दावों के बीच बोदरी नगरपालिका से निर्माण कार्य की गुणवत्ता पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े हो रहे हैं। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी जी के सम्मान और स्मृति में लाखों रुपये खर्च कर चौक का निर्माण और प्रतिमा स्थापना की गई थी।
लेकिन महज़ कुछ ही महीनों में चौक का बदहाल होना घटिया सामग्री और प्रशासनिक अनदेखी की पोल खोल रहा है। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री की प्रतिमा और चौक के आसपास हुए इस घटिया निर्माण को लेकर स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधियों और आम जनता का गुस्सा फूट पड़ा है।
आज नगरपालिका अध्यक्ष और पार्षदों ने क्षेत्र की जनता के साथ मिलकर मौके पर विरोध जताया और पूरे निर्माण कार्य की उच्चस्तरीय जांच की मांग की है।
लाखों रुपये की सरकारी राशि खर्च होने के बावजूद अगर एक साल के भीतर निर्माण कार्य की यह स्थिति होती है, तो यह सीधे तौर पर भ्रष्टाचार की ओर इशारा करता है। अब देखना होगा कि शासन-प्रशासन इस मामले को कितनी गंभीरता से लेता है और दोषी ठेकेदार व अधिकारियों पर क्या कार्रवाई की जाती है।
